Cellular Real-time Dataloggers

Xsense^® cellular-connected real-time loggers record readings and pass them to Xsense^® Cloud whenever they are connected to a cellular network. They report sensor readings and location information.

Xsense^® cellular-connected real-time dataloggers include a SIM card.

When connected to a cellular network, the real-time dataloggers will store readings in their memory.
If cellular connectivity is not possible to achieve, it is possible to transfer data via USB adapter cable with specific models.

One-Way Shipments

Available in low-cost variants, which makes them especially suited for one-way shipments where the devices will not be returned to the purchaser and real-time information is desired.
Geo-location information allows for location tracking and estimation of arrival times

Note: The real-time data loggers need to be placed in a location where the device is likely to receive a signal from the cellular carrier’s network, such as on the top of the items to be monitored.

Cyclic Shipments

Available in versions with rechargeable batteries. Enables the devices to be reused.
Geo-location information allows for location tracking and estimation of arrival times.

Industrial settings

Can be used for facility monitoring.
A good alternative when only a couple of locations need to be monitored in real-time.

Note: The devices will need to be recharged after a period of time, and they can only be placed in locations with cellular signal, if they are to be able to report in real-time.

Due to the limitations of carrier agreements and pricing, cellular coverage is not available in all countries. Additionally, not all networks in each country are covered. Often, connectivity to a network may be only over a select set of technologies. This will limit connectivity further, depending upon the model of Xsense^® cellular real-time datalogger chosen.
